Jason H. Karp is the Co-Founder and CEO of HumanCo – a mission-driven, private holding company focused on investing in healthier living. Previously, Jason was the Founder and CEO of Tourbillon Capital Partners, an investment fund that managed over $4 billion, and has over 21 years of experience at other multi-billion dollar investment funds. Jason decided to close Tourbillon to focus his efforts on health and wellness, embracing the belief that improving health is the most effective strategy to increase global prosperity.

Additionally, Jason is Chairman and Co-Founder of Hu Kitchen and Hu Products, a healthy-lifestyle food company that he created with his wife and brother-in-law. Hu Products is one of the fastest growing snacking companies in the U.S. with a strict focus on transparent, simple ingredients.

Jason graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Economics and concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is on the Board of Advisors of the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy as well as the Tufts Food and Nutrition Innovation Council. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Loomis Chaffee as well as Chairman of the investment committee overseeing their endowment. He has endowed scholarships for low-income students at both Loomis Chaffee and University of Pennsylvania. In addition to education, his philanthropic interests and family foundation focus on prevention and treatment of autoimmune diseases, chronic diseases and childhood obesity. Nat Turner is co-founder and CEO of Flatiron Health, a healthcare software company based in New York City.  Founded in 2012, Flatiron Health’s mission is to improve lives by learning from every cancer patient’s experience.  Roche acquired Flatiron Health in February 2018 for $2.1 billion.

Before co-founding Flatiron Health, Nat was co-founder and CEO of Invite Media, an advertising technology company. Invite Media built the industry’s first enterprise demand-side platform for buying and optimizing online media in real-time. Invite Media was acquired by Google in 2010 after three years.

Prior to Invite Media, Nat started numerous internet companies and also worked at First Round Capital. An active angel investor, Nat has invested in over 75 startups, including Blue Apron, Clover Health, Color Genomics, Gravie, Imagen, Klara, Notable Labs, Plaid, Oscar Insurance, Relay Therapeutics, and Zipline.

Nat earned a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
